I have a conundrum. My house is wired with separate wires for fans and lights. Are your switches are compatible with that wiring scheme? How do I know whether your switches are compatible with certain models of three speed fans?
I want to make sure that the three speeds the switch is calibrated for are the same three speeds the fan is calibrated for. My concern is that the fan will not run as fast or slow with your switch as it would if I were using the remote that comes with the fan.
If you have combatable switches, which ones are they?
Thank you for your question on the fan/light combination units. All of our fan/light combinations are designed so you have independent operation of the fan and light. Most of our exhaust fans are compatible with a solid state speed control and some of them use the three speed control. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for assistance with the particular fan model in question.
