Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broan 437 duct roof cap Disappointed in the quality and engineering of the critter screen, and how it is retained. It was curled and we could not get it to seat properly without having to make a jig and clamp it in position. We then bonded it to the sides of the opening with silicone to form an effective retainer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised but needed adjustment Original roof cap my builder installed was under-sized for Broan outdoor vent hood and blower rated at 1000 CFM. I was getting a lot of blowback into the attice above my lanai. The 437 was the right fix. The unit breaths alot better and is quieter. The unit arrived with a couple of the sheet metal corners alittle bent and the damper kept getting hung up on the screen. After a few minor adjustments, it works fine.

Thank you for your question on the roof caps. We do not recommend venting more than one fan through a single roof cap. When you combine two ducts together, you need to enlarge the duct work from that point on. You also have a good possibility of one fan feeding back onto another. You would need to check your local codes for any restrictions.
