  • This patent-pending series marks a revolution of our mid-range ventilation fans. It gives professionals the flexibility to handle new construction or room-side retrofit installations from one hard-working product line with a full range of operating points. Innovations include foldable mounting ears and new damper and housing technology that improve building airtightness like never before. And all with new grille designs that are at home in any decor.

    • 80 CFM reduces humidity to quickly eliminate fogged mirrors and manage moisture in bathrooms up to 75 square feet, so your vision will always be clear and your surroundings will always be comfortable
    • Retrofit installations can be done entirely from the room-side – no attic access required. This means a faster, easier installation, so you can move on to something else
    • With our TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to 50%* compared to competitive models, resulting in better home performance via blower door tests and reducing cold and warm air backdrafts
    • EzDuct™ Connector can be installed room-side with no attic access required, fan housing connection have never been easier
    • ENERGY STAR® Certified
    • UL Listed for use over tubs and showers with a GFCI circuit; so you can capture the steam before it spreads throughout the room by locating your fan exactly where you need it the most

*Testing reflects total fan housing airtightness. See nutone.com/invent for more details.

  • AEN80 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Quiet This fan is VERY quiet and moves lots of air. It's so quiet that I can barely tell if it's on or not. It is a little bit larger than most builder grade fans, so be prepared to make some cuts. Besides from the cuts, installation was very easily, I didn't even have to go in the attic. Overall this is a really quiet fan that moves lots of air, and it works great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fan is very noisy. Fan works well and ventilates the bathroom efficiently, but it is very noisy and sounds cheaply made.

  • Will the new AEN80 guts fit into an older existing QT80 housing?

Existing QT80 has reached end of life and needs to be replaced. Trying to avoid damaging existing sheet rock. No access ceiling soffitt between floors. Thanks
    Asked by: Ed
Thank you for your question on the model AEN80 and QT80 exhaust fans. The guts of the AEN80 will not work inside of the QT80 housing. The only parts available for use inside the QT80 housing would be the original replacement parts. The power unit assembly (motor mounting bracket, motor and blower wheel in one assembly) for the QT80 is part number 0695B000. It is available through the “Shop for Parts” link at the top of our web site page or from the Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948.

How long of an exhaust run does this fan support

    Asked by: Jon Walton
Thank you for your question. The maximum duct run using 4” round rigid piping can be no more than 23ft. straight. You will need to subtract 4ft. for every 90 degree bend in the line. For further assistance, contact Technical Support at 888-336-6151.

Thank you for your question. The InVent Series fans are not for use in a cooking area. The grease from the cooking surface could damage the blower wheel and motor. For further assistance, contact Technical Support at 888-336-6151.

Is there a larger grille that would fit mode AEN80?

Took out 40 yr old Nutone. - had rectangular grille. Installed new AEN80 OK. Grille with new fan is square and does not cover ceiling opening completely. Need a larger grille. Retro fitted the old grille to cover hole as a temp. fix.
    Asked by: Nick
Thank you for your question. There is no larger grille available for the AEN80. If there is a gap between the housing and the ceiling you will need to repair the ceiling. For more information, contact Technical Support at 888-336-6151.
