I have a Fan/Light (8663NLDG) and would like to replace the motor and blower wheel because it's getting quite noisy and clunky.
Can I Use the Power Unit Assembly (S97017705) for the 8663RP for my model?
Have you tried cleaning around the motor and fan wheel? Try taking a vacuum to it. Use that long skinny attachment that comes with most vacs. Menards gave me replacement assembly S97015162, but I don't think it's right. Looking else where

Plastic blower wheel scraping against assembly - loud!
The plastic blower wheel is scraping against assembly - loud!
After inspecting the unit, it appears the blower wheel is either become slightly deformed (the wheel spins like a bicycle wheel that is not trued), or the catch on the hole where the wheel stops on the pivot is defective and the wheel is allowed to get too close to the motor and assembly.
wrapping some tape on the pivot temporarily prevents the wheel from doing this, but I would like to get a replacement part for my unit - but searched everywhere and cannot locate.
Please assist me in locating?
Unit is 8663RP "B"
In re. to NuTone's answer that the replacement part is 5901A000, why does this part number not appear on the list of available replacement parts for this unit on your website?

The fan is blowing into the bathroom.
I was replacing the bulb and when I tested it, I noticed the fan was blowing into the bathroom. Do you have any suggestions on how to correct this?
Check if the flapper valve is operating properly. It sould freely open and stay closed to prevent backdraft from outside.
