  • can I use one of the fan outputs(low) for 2 stage lighting

    Asked by: kava
Thank you for your question on the model RCK01 remote control kit for ceiling fans. Although it may be possible to use the fan outputs for 2 stage lighting, it was not designed for or tested for this use. For that reason we cannot recommend using it for that application.

Light comes on a few seconds then goes off?

When I try to dim the light by holding down on green light button the light bulbs will dim quickly then go off for a few seconds then on a few seconds. It will continue to flicker that way turning on and off about 3 second each.

REMOTE CONTROL FOR FAN AND LIGHT?

I have a problem regarding separate remote control and learning receiver for fans and lights located 12 feet apart without frequency interference between controls. Are there remote controls that will control each fan and lights this close together?
    Asked by: Pat
Thank you for your question on the model RCK01 ceiling fan remote control. There are code switches on the remote that can be changed in case of interference or if two or more ceiling fans with the same type of control system are installed in the same structure. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

    Remote stopped working

The wall switch that gives power to the ceiling fan got turned off. When I turned the wall switch back on, the remote to the ceiling fan would not turn on the fan. The remote signal is lighting up but the fan or light will not turn on.

Thank you for your question on the model RCK01 optional remote control kit for ceiling fans. First you should replace the 9 volt battery in the hand held remote. If that does not solve your problem, you could try resetting the frequency code in your transmitter to a new code setting. Change the setting and then press and hold the OFF button on the transmitter for 5 seconds (within 60 seconds). The receiver should lock in the chosen frequency on the transmitter and receiver. If it does not, we would assume that the receiver has been damaged. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.

Installed the remote. works fine. Light comes on from an outside source. Followed instuctions to change. Con't change it. Why?

I installed the remote. It works fine. However the light comes on from an outside source at different times. Could be in the middle of the night. I tried to change the frequency using the directions provided. It will not change. If I use the original frequency it does work. What do I need to do?
    Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question on the model RCK01 ceiling fan remote control. The receiver features an automatic learning function. There are no frequency switches on the receiver. The receiver will automatically scan the frequency from the transmitter if any changes are made. If the receiver does not recognize the different frequency the problem could be in the transmitter or receiver. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.
