  • QTXN110SL is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good features We purchased 2 of these, the first one is working great, very quiet and keeps the mirror clean during hot showers. We then bought a second one for another bathroom re-model and is not working so good, the fan makes a lot of noise most of the time. Don't know what to do about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The product is quiet, however; the cover does not let the light come through The fan is quiet, works great however the cover does not let the light show through. The light bulb used is a 100 watt bulb, the bathroom is small this is the only light in the room and should be sufficient. Previous model same brand had a 60 watt bulb and was much brighter due to the cover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good light/exhaust fan/dehumidifier Product seems to work well in all aspects. The light could be a little brighter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent purchase! I have had one of the already for 3 years now and wanted another for another bathroom renovation and like the features. It is the only one (that I found) with an automatic humidity sensor. This was a must because I am certain my husband would not remember to turn it off or on. The night light and regular light are also a plus!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked its appearance. It's louder than what I expected 0.9 sones to sound. Have yet to test the humidity sensor because the bathroom remodeling project is still going on.

  • We have just installed the fan QTXN110SL an hour ago. Now we have an odor in the bathroom. I

The odor is not like a burning wire smell, it is more of a chemical smell. Could there be a "new product" smell? Or could there be a problem?
    Asked by: Tiger
Thank you for your question on the model QTXN110SL humidity sensing exhaust fan/light/night light. We would not know why you now have this chemical smell in the bathroom. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for assistance.

What is the best wall switch to install to control this unit?

    Asked by: Paul
Thank you for your question on the model QTXN110SL humidity sensing exhaust fan/light/night light. We would suggest either using the model 66W or 66V (if you only want the fan to come on with high humidity) or the 77DW or 77DV (if you also want to have an override control for the fan when needed for odors). Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

    Energy Star?

Hi, The QTXN110SL says it's Energy Star Qualified on the front page, but says it's not under the specifications. Is it with a 100 W incandescent bulb? Also, our vents are 4 inch so we would need a reducer to take it from 6 inches to 4. Will that change the power of the CFM down from 110? If so, what do you think it would be rated at? Also, we would get the newer series (Ultra ZN110H) but we can't find it with an incandescent light (just fluourescent which we don't want). Do you make one with an incandescent light? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your question on the model QTXN110SL humidity sensing exhaust fan/light/night light. The QTXN110SL is not Energy Star qualified, but the QTXEN110SFLT is Energy Star qualified. Any of our combination units that are Energy Star rated will have fluorescent lighting. You can reduce this to a 4" duct size, but performance will be reduced and noise will be increased. The ZN Ultra Series of fan/lights are only available with fluorescent lighting.
