We have just installed the fan QTXN110SL an hour ago. Now we have an odor in the bathroom. I
The odor is not like a burning wire smell, it is more of a chemical smell. Could there be a "new product" smell? Or could there be a problem?

Thank you for your question on the model QTXN110SL humidity sensing exhaust fan/light/night light. We would not know why you now have this chemical smell in the bathroom. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for assistance.

Energy Star?
Hi,
The QTXN110SL says it's Energy Star Qualified on the front page, but says it's not under the specifications. Is it with a 100 W incandescent bulb?
Also, our vents are 4 inch so we would need a reducer to take it from 6 inches to 4. Will that change the power of the CFM down from 110? If so, what do you think it would be rated at?
Also, we would get the newer series (Ultra ZN110H) but we can't find it with an incandescent light (just fluourescent which we don't want). Do you make one with an incandescent light?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your question on the model QTXN110SL humidity sensing exhaust fan/light/night light. The QTXN110SL is not Energy Star qualified, but the QTXEN110SFLT is Energy Star qualified. Any of our combination units that are Energy Star rated will have fluorescent lighting. You can reduce this to a 4" duct size, but performance will be reduced and noise will be increased. The ZN Ultra Series of fan/lights are only available with fluorescent lighting.
