  • This patent-pending series marks a revolution of our mid-range ventilation fans. It gives professionals the flexibility to handle new construction or room-side retrofit installations from one hard-working product line with a full range of operating points. Innovations include foldable mounting ears and new damper and housing technology that improve building airtightness like never before. And all with new grille designs that are at home in any decor.

    • 80 CFM reduces humidity to quickly eliminate fogged mirrors and manage moisture in bathrooms up to 75 square feet, so your vision will always be clear and your surroundings will always be comfortable
    • Retrofit installations can be done entirely from the room-side – no attic access required. This means a faster, easier installation, so you can move on to something else
    • With our TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to Fifty Percent* compared to competitive models, resulting in better home performance via blower door tests and reducing cold and warm air backdrafts
    • EzDuct™ Connector can be installed room-side with no attic access required, fan housing connection have never been easier
    • UL Listed for use over tubs and showers with a GFCI circuit; so you can capture the steam before it spreads throughout the room by locating your fan exactly where you need it the most
    • 100W max. incandescent A19 type bulb or energy efficient equivalent bulb with Maximum Overall Length (M.O.L.) of 4.4" or less (bulb not included)
    • With our TrueSeal™ Damper Technology, InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to 50% compared to competitive models, resulting in better home performance via blower door tests.*

*Testing reflects total fan housing airtightness. See nutone.com/invent for more details.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor grill cover I like the fan very quiet BUT the cover springs are junk.I purchased the fan from home depot went back and checked other boxes .there were two different style of Springs and gauge.if this is a upgrade you missed it.drilled cover and screwed to ceiling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs perfectly, wish I’d bought it sooner. Runs quietly, powerful fan keeps bathroom clear of water vapor even after several consecutive hot showers. No more water running down the walls or mildew!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Everything works just fine but the screen cover with the light assy. I have everything installed without any complaint whatsoever until I got into trying to install the screen assy. The spring loaded wire two pieces does not work at all, also hardly anything about the installation is mentioned anywhere in the instruction, the wire will come out where it attaches to the metal box or at the place where it attaches to the screen assembly it is a most frustrating exercise of failure. I gave up as my neck has started to bother me looking up to try and install the screen. My mind was set in maybe installing a angle bracket and a couple of screws to hold the screen up. I found you guys in the internet and thought maybe I can learn about the ARN80L that I got from Home Depot. So after reading all the reviews I got hold of a number I can call.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from grill springs suck Our contractor is here now trying to put the grill cover on. They've been over an hour just trying to put it on. Ridiculous! I really wanted to buy "Made in America" so that is the only reason I got this one. I do not recommend at all. If we can get new grill springs that would help. Please let us know how to proceed. I would take it back to the Home Depot except it's completely installed except for the cover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The fan is very quiet I like the how quiet the fan is, however, as others have stated, the clips holding the cover in place are flimsy and hard to put in place on the housing. A better and easier way with better hardware to install the cover is needed. Both the video and the literature are very vague as to how to install the cover as designed with the flimsy clips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Grill springs are awful. Grill springs do not go on easily. Been fighting with them for an hour now. Who would've thought this would be the hardest part of the job. Also, we did not have a parts bag or any screws provided. Everything else was pretty easy. Fan is quiet when tested. Just have grill and light hanging til I can figure how to get it attached. Very frustrating!!

  • how in the world do you remove light cover to change bulb??

    Asked by: kayrv
The light cover squeezes in on two sides to disengage from the housing so it can be removed to replace the light bulb

Is the light and fan capable of being on separate switches?

    Asked by: John
Yes. There is wiring within the housing for both (separate). With that said, you do need the wiring within the wall for both switches as well. Note: The product includes a wiring diagram.

What motor speed and/or humidity sensor is compatible with ARN80L?

I wish to add motor speed control and a humidity-sensing on/off switch. Do you market such accessories? If not, could you tell me what type motor controller to use? I cannot tell from, reading your spec's whether or not this unit uses a capacitive-start motor (some controllers I have looked into specify not to use with capacitive-start motors).
    Asked by: David C
Thank you for your question on model ARN80L exhaust fan/light. You can use a solid state speed control on the ARN80L (our model number is 57W). We also have two wall humidity sensors that can be used with the ARN80L (our model numbers DH100W and 82W). Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.

    ARN80L

What is the sound level? The main ad says 2.0, the spec sheet says 1.0 and Home Depot says .8
    Asked by: John
Thank you for your question on the model ARN80L exhaust fan/light. The correct sone rating on this model is 0.8 sones. The specification sheet will be updated to reflect this. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.
