    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 8832SA exhaust fan. The opening needed for the 8832 is 8-1/2” x 9”. You may need to slightly adjust that size if you are installing from above (attic side). For more specific information the installation instructions and spec sheets are available for download from our web site.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 8830 and 8832 exhaust fans. The 8832 is the replacement for the 8830 but you will need to totally remove the 8830 to install the 8832. You may have to slightly adjust the ceiling opening for the 8832.

    Answer:
Good morning, Pacific Coast Electric. Thank you for your interest in our products. We appreciate your business. The model 8832WH is not U.L. approved to be inside the tub/shower enclosure even if you use a GFI circuit. However, many times when someone is interested in this model, it’s due to the size of the housing. You may only have four inches in depth. We do off a fan that is U.L. rated for inside the tub/shower enclosure when connected to a GFCI protected branch circuit (ceiling mount only), and the housing dimensions are as follows:
    10-1/8” x 10-1/2” x 4” D. The model is LPN80.
Just type this model number into the search field at the top of Nutone’s web page. This may be a suitable option. Call our Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948 if you have further questions. Thanks, again.
