Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I was very disappointed with this product especially with the amount of money I spent on it. I was replacing an old broan bath fan. Barely suck in any moisture or air and I have a very small bathroom. The only thing great about it is the quietness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mirrors don't fog up. We purchased two of these fans for our master and guest bathrooms. Both work great in removing the moisture to the point that the mirrors in the bathrooms don't fog up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits my needs perfectly Not as quiet as I hoped but moves the air great, the night light feature with a blue led bulb give just the right amount of ambient light into the hallway for the kids

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremeley Loud Mechanical noise I purchased an installed this in our bathroom after our other one finally burnt out. It was fine for about 6 hours. Then it started to make mechanical noise. I was able to get a replacement motor and blower from Broan. The new one was better. For a few months it was great it was quiet. Then it started to happen again now it is really bad. I have had the unit a year. I will be replacing it with something different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Upgrade We've Done Upgraded our old exhaust fan to this new one and have been extremely satisfied since installing. Have had fan for over six months now and am pleased in that it runs quietly and quickly removes the humidity from the bathroom after taking showers/baths. The light is bright and nightlight is dim enough so you can still see without being blinded in the middle of the night. I would highly recommend this unit if you are in need of an upgrade and/or want a quieter bathroom exhaust fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too quiet for our needs Agree with all the positives about the fan. Has enough ventilation power for our large bathroom (96 sq-ft). Quiet; it is used in a semi-public office location, and sometimes too quiet is not really wanted. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the quietness So far I love this ventilation fan. My husband used to work as a contractor and install was quite simply. We have a NuTone fan in our main bathroom and it has been wonderful. So we purchased another one for our master suite. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you for a great product. I 'm loving it in Montana.

  • Can I install this from the attic with access above?

Hoping to only cut a hole as large as the fan needs so there is no ceiling patching- there's heavy texture on the bath ceiling. Thanks!
    Asked by: zmusashi
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, assuming there are no unforeseen circumstances, you should be able to install this fan with adequate attic access. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call our Technical Support group at 888-336-6151.

    Wiring to eliminate night light

Can I wire this unit to two switches for the fan and light without utilizing the night light, if so how?
    Asked by: Tony
Thank you for your question on the model QTN130LE1 exhaust fan/light/night light. To wire the QTN130LE1 without the night light you would first connect all three white wires from the QTN130 to your house white neutral wire. The QTN130 ground wire goes to the house bare ground wire. The QTN130 blue wire goes to the hot power wire from the light switch and the black wire goes to the hot power wire from the fan switch. Cap off the red wire. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.

    Asked by: shields
Thank you for your question on the model QTN130LE1 exhaust fan/light/night light. After you snap the six inch damper duct connector onto housing you would slide the six inch to four inch reducer over the damper duct connector. It should fit solidly, but you can use duct tape to finish the installation.
