Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value The fans came on time and installed in minutes. They looked very simple so at first, I didn't think they would put out much breeze but was I wrong! They put out so much that medium is about the most we can handle before it starts blowing paper around (we just moved in so we have packing paper all over). The fans go very well with our open concept modern home. Overall very satisfied with the fans and compared to buying from big box stores, I thought the price was outstanding.

Is there a limit to how far down this fan can hang?

I have a very tall space and in order to have the fan at the optimal height of 12' from the floor it would need to be hung about 18' from the top of the arched ceiling. If I were to stabilize it laterally with steel cables, is it possible to have 18' worth of down rods?
    Asked by: Neltz
Thank you for your question on the model CFC56BR ceiling fans. There is an optional 48” down rod that can be used with the CFC56BR fan. We do not recommend using anything longer than this.

Will the 36" downrod extension work with the #202943394 commercial fan?

Need to make sure this fan will work with the 36" downrod extension.
    Asked by: Appleton
Thank you for your question on the model CFC56BR commercial ceiling fan. We have no way of determining what the #202943394 commercial fan is. The 36 inch downrod for the NuTone CFC56BR would be the model DR36BR.

Thank you for your question on the model CFC56BR ceiling fan. I’m sorry, but this fan is not wet or damp location rated. You may want to look at our CFO series. These outdoor fans are "wet" rated.

how many fans can I run on one control ?

    Asked by: Stafford
Thank you for your question on the model CFC56BR ceiling fan. We recommend up to 10 fans on a single standard wall switch. If you are using the model 78 variable speed control, it would be one control for one fan. You cannot run more than one fan per speed control.
