About every 2 months the batteries need to be changed. When tested, installed batteries are "dead. " Device is not used frequently, located inside a condo.
Thank you for your question on the model LA225WH wireless door chime. With normal usage, alkaline batteries should last approximately one year in the LA225WH. If you are only getting two months out of a set of batteries, it would sound like the unit is defective. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

Is it possible to hook up a second receiver speaker along with an additional push button? Or is it best to order two separate kits?
Thank you for your question on the model LA225WH wireless door chime. The LA225 comes with a single push button and can handle up to three doors, with the purchase of additional wireless push buttons. Each of the three doors could have a different sound. You can also use multiple receivers inside the house for a single or multiple push buttons.

How do you turn volume down?
I see on website it says includes volume control. But looking at the install instructions I don't see how to turn the volume down. Have a customer that is complaining it is too loud. Thanks
Thank you for your question on the model LA225WH wireless door chime. I’m sorry, but the web site is incorrect. Although some of the wireless chimes do have a volume control, the LA225WH does not. There is no way to reduce the volume on the LA225.

Is this chime compatible with other door bells?
Hi- I like this chime kit but would prefer a black door bell. Can I use another door bell with this chime kit? Thanks

Max distance between door buzzer and receiver?
I have this unit and it is mounted around 20 feet from the buzzer. There is 1 wall between buzzer and receiver. It worked for about a day(actually 2 times) and stopped.
Thank you for your question on the model LA225WH wireless door chime. The LA225WH has an open area range of 100 feet, but the distance will be shorter depending on the amount of metal between the push button and receiver. The first thing to try is changing the batteries in the push button and receiver. If that does not work, contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for assistance.
