  • Kickspace heaters have a low-profile design that provides floor-level heat from an out-of-the-way location. Great idea for light-commercial applications such as ticket/toll booths or checkout counters where ducting isn’t possible. Factory wired at 1500W at 240VAC can be easily converted to 750W or 1500W at 120V for added versatility.

    • White grille has a baked enamel finish and one-piece design for durability
    • Vertical louvers disperse heat evenly across the width of the grille
    • Control temperature with optional line voltage thermostat (Model 87W) or timer (Models 59V or 59W 60-minute timer or Models 61V or 61W 15-minute timer) for a simple and convenient way to control the heater. Integral thermostat kit (Model 90) also available.
    • No extended warm up time due to an efficient steel sheathed, plate-finned heating element that provides comfortable heat in seconds
    • Quiet, thermally protected motor shuts off in event of overheating and transverse blower circulates heated air for optimal room warming. UL Listed for safety.
    • Slim design tucks under cabinet kickspaces, vanities, stairways or any place where space is limited and a little extra heat is desired to make your environment cozier
    • Kickspace heaters are intended to provide supplemental heat from a wall location and not to take the place of a home’s main heat source

    How To Figure Voltage

    • Watts/Amperage = Voltage
    • Example: 1,000 Watts / 8.33 Amps = 120 Volts

    How To Figure Wattage

    • Voltage x Amperage = Watts

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product! As a professional builder I have been using this same model since 1993. To my knowledge every one I've installed is still in service. We only use them in bathrooms as supplemental heat, for this use they are outstanding. We use them in the 120V option with a timer switch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product This unit was very easy to install and fit perfectly under my new cabinets with space to spare. Fan output is a bit loud but the air flow and warm up time are excellent. Added a second unit later with no problem. Second unit had trouble with a vibration rattle when running. Found the fan motor mount sits too close to the lid - evidenced by an area where the paint was rubbed off the inside of the lid. Added a thin strip of insulation tape to that inside portion of the lid in both units - no more noise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too noisy The unit was easy to install. It met the heating requirements but its' operation is noisy. Much louder than what it replaced. I'd try another manufacturer and see if you can get a noise measurement for it the same way they rate bathroom fans.

Is there a digital timer available? Other brands? The spring timers don't last. Thanks.

Thank you for your question on the model 114 kick space heater. The only timers we have are the mechanical wind down timers. We would not have a recommendation for a digital timer to use with the 114.

    heat is very very low

the heat coming out of this unit without a thermostat is very low, almost unnoticeable. i placed a thermometer in front of it and after ten minutes, the thermometer went up half a degree. this will not warm my bathroom or even the marble floor in front of it. is there a way to adjust it internally or must i buy a thermostat or this unit perhaps defective? thank you

Thank you for your question. The Model 114 uses (2) Heater Elements. If they have failed, then you would only feel room temperature air when the motor is active. Please contact Technical Support for further assistance at 888-336-6151.

Does this heater need a thermostat to operate?

It has a push button 5 min interval timer. I have two heaters with power going to both units (checked by a licensed electrician), however they do not turn on by the wall timer switch.
    Asked by: Calle
Thank you for your question. This heater may be thermostatically controlled by either a line voltage wall-mounted thermostat (Model 86W), or an optional built-in thermostat accessory kit (Model 90). Or, you can use the Model 59W 60 Minute Timer or Model 61W 15 Minute Timer. For further assistance, contact Technical Support at 888-336-6151.
