    Rated 1 out of 5 by from This fan has a flaw in the design The fan works great, After a couple of years it start to rust. Why would you make a bathroom fan that will rust? Other than the rust the fan works great.

  • does the fan work when hooked up alone to the power supply, or does the whole unit need to be assembled

    Thank you for your question on the model 741SNNT exhaust fan/light. As long as the internal electrical socket is connected to 110 volts and the fan is plugged in, it should work. You do not need to have the light connected for the fan to work.
