Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has adjustable features to meet your needs. I purchased this under cabinet range hood to replace an existing exhaust fan during a remodeling project. The fan has a variable speed selection so you can use the speed that fits your particular needs. My wife really likes the product. The under hood exhaust fan also has a light that is bright enough for our cooking needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from much too noisy at high speed, black on black marking illegible unit installed by contractor after many false attempts to solve problem w/cabinet door hitting corner of range hood; finally found stainless unit w/40* offset which just barely meets requirement; noise and markings mentioned above are a constant reminder of the shortcoming; seems to be designed to include every objectionable feature; good thing thks was an insurance claim.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good product Purchased today, replaced an old white unit as our appliances are now all stainless, installed the ductless type, very easy to wire and install. The fan is on a variable speed knob, it is a bit noisy but it is a fan, I guess to be expected. The LIGHT has two clicks, not noted in the specs.- full brightness and another a bit less bright(called a night light but quite bright), The stainless finish really looks nice!! I had to purchase the non-ducted charcoal filter(41F). Also purchased a 75 watt comparable LED light bulb, should last many years and does not get hot. Very satisfied w/ our purchase. AS I HAVE SAID LOOKS VERY SHARP!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simple and looks good This a replacement for a 35 year old system. It fitted in the space without modification. It's simple design is perfect for the kitchen. It does the job or more expensive unit and you can beat the price. The unit complemented the new stove range recently bought.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OK for the money Needed this to replace a Bisque color when we changed kitchen appliances. Bought the same old dated design because the vent locations matched. Quality of construction no where near as good as the 10 year old model it replaced. After 13 months the fan switch failed. Fan is not used more that 4 times per week. Typical of engineering and cost cutting MTBF of products made now. Would not recommend if you you don't have to match existing holes like I did.

    Fan is really loud

I just bought and installed this range hood. The fan is super loud and vibrates. Is this just a poor quality, cheap fan, or did I get a defective unit?

My new unit is a bit loud but I expect it from this fan.

Need wiring diagram and perhaps a new fan motor.

There is no power to the fan switch but there is power to the lights. Husband is trying to chase down problem with no info on how the range hood is wired.
    Asked by: Anonymous
The wiring is very simple. Be sure to connect black wire to black and white wire to white. Be sure to connect the green ground wire to the unit and the bare copper wire or green color ground wire from your 120v house wiring. good luck !

Fan keeps spinning in OFF position

I wired the range hood fan properly, yet when you turn the fan off, it keeps spinning. My old range hood never did that. Why is this happening?
    Asked by: Anonymous
If you wired the house power black wire to the black on the fan and the light and all the white wires connected to house white wire the only way that the fan keeps running after you shut the variable switch off all the way until you hear the click .....You could have a defective variable switch....
