  • what wireless boorbell can be programed? Can I hard wire the chime and use a wireless button?

    Asked by: Epic Electric
Thank you for your question on wireless door chimes. The only wireless door chime, currently in the line, that can be programmed, is the LA600WH. This chime can be used either wired or wireless, but you cannot hard wire the LA600 for power and only use a wireless button. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

We have purchased to plug in door chime but only one door installation, will both chimes work?

We have the 2nd one upstairs and it doesn't ring when the doorbell rings.
    Asked by: Paula
Thank you for your question on the model LA204WH wireless door chime. As long as the push button and receivers are all set to the same security code and within the operating distance of one another, they should work together. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

Does this product have the ability to only chime or only strobe?

The reasoning behind this question is placing them in senior units where an individual my be deaf and only need the strobe or blind and only need the chime. Also the case where an individual wants only jsut the chime and not have the strobe flash every time.
    Asked by: Ry
The strobe light and chime were designed to operate together. The pushbutton/transmitter can be programmed to sound one of three chime sounds.

LA204WH - Strobe lights up without the doorbell being pushed.

It does not activate the chime but would like it to stop going off. What causes this to happen?
    Asked by: Sara
Thank you for the question on the model LA204WH wireless door chime. If the chime is false ringing, you should first try changing the security code on the push button and receiver. If that does not fix the problem, I would assume that the unit is defective and would need to be replaced. For further assistance please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151.
