  • LA130WH is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Standard but a good chime I bought this as an exact replacement for the one that came with the house. Our house is about 12 years old so from our experience, that the shelf life for this product. Easy to install and the chime can be heard easily from upstairs.

  • Is there a sound quality difference between LA130WH and LA39WH?

Is the difference between these 2 models only asthetic, or is there a sound quality difference as well?
    Asked by: Jim
We appreciate your interest in our NuTone chime product. The LA39WH has two tone bars that ring together making for a richer sound. Both have excellent sound quality.

Is this paintable? If not, any suggested model that is?

    Asked by: Ron W
Thank you for your question. You should be able to paint the LA130WH cover after priming. You may want to take the cover to a paint store to get more information.

    20VAC compatible?

Will this work with my existing 20VAC transformer?
    Asked by: djerikd
Thank you for your question on the model LA130WH wired door chime. The LA130WH requires the use of a 16 VAC transformer. Using a 20 VAC transformer will eventually damage the chime.
