Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great exhaust fan. I was getting way too much humidity in my bathroom when we showered. I installed this fan and problem solved. This fan works great powerful yet quiet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best exhaust fan in the house 22 years ago, we remodeled our home and put an inground jacuzzi in our new basement. Before we finished the basement, we installed a new exhaust fan to deal with the moisture in the glass enclosed room surronding the Jacuzzi. The fan lasted until last month (despite being on for 10 + hours/day). The motor finally froze up, probably due to the excess moisture for over 20 yrs.in the enclosed room. We ordered a replacement and were pleased to find the replacement was exactly as it was 22 years ago. Since the fan housing was in a finished ceiling, we really didn't want to replace the housing, so we just exchanged the fan (a simple plug an play) and were up and running in less than 30 minutes. The hardest part of the project, since I can't walk on water was spanning the 8ft jacuzzi where I could get up to the fan. I wish all other home repair projects were as easy. Great product and service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Competent and Simple It's exactly what you would expect from Nutone/Broan. Well done, but nothing to write home about (like the Panasonic in our master bath). This is a replacement situation, where buying the entire fan and pitching the housing was less expensive than buying the blower from their parts depot. The blower fit the old housing perfectly. The grille is a whole different situation (Despite being assured by their tech support people that it would fit). Overall, OK. Benting Direct was superb.

  • What could cause the QT200 to not be taking in air stronly?

Ducts, exhaust vent look good, unit running, but I'm having issues with water condensing in bathroom after shower. Tissue held to vent has to be single ply and held flat against the vent for the until to keep tissue up. I have lower CFM fans in house that easily hold up a 3 ply tissue. Ideas?

    what size discharge is recommended?

    Asked by: jim
Thank you for your question on the model QT300 exhaust fan. The QT300 requires a 3-1/4” x 10” rectangular duct work. If you want to convert it to round, you would convert it to either 6” or 7” round.

My qt300 does not turn on for whatever reason. Anyway I can check why it has stopped working or is there possibly a reset button?

    Asked by: Brchilton
If your fan is completely dead, the problem is most likely the wall switch or the motor itself. To narrow the possibilities, you may want to power the motor, independently, with an extension cord. If the isolated motor does not run, it needs to be replaced. The part number of the motor is 58840000 and you may purchase it at the "Shop for Parts" section of our website or by calling our Customer Service department, at 888-336-3948.
