Will this work with model 2090?
My Nutone original outside door speaker requires the visitor to push a lever to hear or to speak. They don't know I am talking to them so they don't press the lever. This door speaker would work much better. PS: My Nutone Intercom System is from 1968, functions perfectly and is throughout my home. So I don't want to replace it, just need to communicate with visitors.
I actually found the original instruction book and it was "operator error"! Works just fine- Amazing that this system works after almost 50 years!

I have an existing Nutone door speaker and intercom, but need to move it from the current location to another location. I need to extend the wires
about 3 ft. I could use the old door speaker and cover up the box hole, but don't know what type of wires I need to extend the system.
Thank you for your question on the radio intercom system door speakers. The correct way to extend the wires, are to rerun the wires. When you splice wires you have a good chance of introducing noise into the system. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH AN NM100 REPLACEMENT SYSTEM?
I am interested with a chime and intercom but don't have a need for music. Also the existing units are enclosed in stucco. What additional rough in and frame will I need?
Thank you for your question on the model NDB300WH intercom remote door speaker. The NDB300WH is compatible with the NM100 system. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.
