  • Will NA3008C Chime Module work with IMA 4006 series?

The door bell not ringing. I want to replace with NA3008C that I bought. Will it work? Your recommendation appreciated.

Thank you for your question on the model NA3008C radio intercom system door chime module. The NA3008C is designed for the model NM100 and NM200 systems. It will not work in the IMA4006. The chime module for the IMA4006 would be the IA28 or IA29. These are obsolete and no longer available through the factory. You will need to do an internet search for them.

NA3008C - Does it play different songs?

I had two pervious Nutone intercom systems. With those systems I could select one of eight different songs to have it play when the door bell button was pushed. With the NA3008C module, does it have that capability? RIght now I have the one wire on the screw labeled "8" and the Westminster "song". By changing the wire to one of the other terminals, do you get a different "song" or do you just get a shortened version of Westminster?

Thank you for your question on the model NA3008C radio intercom door chime module. The NA3008C is designed to work with the NM100 and NM200 radio intercom systems. The chime module is capable of playing one, two, four or eight notes, depending on the screw terminal you have the push button connected to. The four note chime is a shortened Westminster.

    I have a master 3003 system

it has a LB55 chime kit as well. Can I use this chime kit? Or will I need to update to a NM100 system?
    Asked by: D
Thank you for your question on the model 3003 radio intercom system. If your unit has a chime module, it would be the IA28 or IA29 (no longer available through the factory) and it could not use the NA3008C (used with the NM100 and NM200 systems only). If you have an external chime, such as the LB55, the only chime available to replace it would be the LA174WH. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.
