  • How do I use 6 wire cable to properly connect this to NM200 Master Station?

I was not happy with the solution provided since the reason I was asking the question in the first place was because the installation manual doesn't provide clear instructions for 6-wire connection(s) vs. CAT-5 8-wire hookup. Consequently, I ended up calling the number listed to speak to a technician and was told that as long as I was connecting the new remote station to a new model 200 master station, the proper way to wire the remote station using 6-wire is to simply ignore the brown/brown-white wire connections that are present on the back of the remote station.

How to connect intercom NuTone NRS103wH? And what is the voltage?

This is retrofit with no instructions! Thank you, Mike Haun

The NRS103WH is intended to use three wires to the master station. This is a bit confusing because the NRS103 in fact has 4 screw terminals green, red, black and white. The master station also has these same 4 terminals. I found that by just using the green, red and black wires to the appropriate screw terminals the unit will work as described. Even if you change the jumper setting on the master station to work as 4 wire, the NRS103WH will not work properly. Don't hook up the white wire and it should work fine.

I need to replace an outdoor speaker ISA319WH used with a master station IMA3303

Since it does not appear that the ISA319WH is available, which outdoor surface mount speaker would be a satisfactory replacement?

The closest replacement would be an ISA-339-WH outdoor speaker, However, you will have to search for this model on the web as it is no longer in our product line.

Can ceiling speaker be connected to this?

Can indoor speaker NS382CWH (or outdoor speaker) be connected to this remote station or just to volume control NA300MCWH? The catalog shows wiring diagrams only with the ceiling speaker connected through volume control (not through this remote station).

Thank you for your question on the intercom systems. All of our current radio intercom systems require that each remote station (whether it is an intercom remote or music speaker) be individually wired back to the master station. You cannot wire a second remote or speaker off of another.

How to properly Wire a Retrofit NRS103 Station (to replace a ISA-335WH station)?

I am replacing some ISA-335 WH 3-wire remote stations with "retrofit" NRS103 3-wire stations. The wiring is confusing as the older ISA-335WH has 3 connections for the 3 wires: Blue/Copper, Grey/Center, and Red Strip/Silver. The new NRS103WH has 4 connections (for 3-wires???): Green, Red, While, and Black. There is no wiring diagram that came with the new NRS103 stations, and I cannot find a wiring diagram on the web. So I need advice on properly connecting my existing 3-wires to the 3-wire retrofit station (that has 4 terminals with differrent color labels). Thanks.

Thank you for your question on the model NRS103WH remote intercom station. The NRS103WH is a three wire remote station that works with the NM100 system. The NRS103WH can only be used to replace an ISA335, when the complete system is changed out. It will not work with the IM3003 or the IMA3303. Page four of the NM100 installation instructions show the interconnection wiring from the NuTone three conductor wires to the wiring colors labeled on the NRS103WH.
