  • NS130WW is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from worth the money it's not the best one i've had, but the price was reasonable. i'm sorry that i didn't go for more money and get a better one. my smoke alarm keeps going off and i can see that the vapors aren't going straight up through the exhaust even at the strongest, although they finally find their way. the strongest is very noisey, the medium hardly does anything and the low does nothing. i only use the high. it has good features, but they don't work that well. the lights are terrific. best i ever had and the filters are very easy-care. so it's worth what it cost. if you don't need a hardworking fan, or don't cook much, it's great, very dependable. if you know that going in, you'll definitely get your money's worth with this fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from still enjoying my Broan range hood Sleek lines, plenty of light (rarely use the brightest setting) and great at removing smoke and odors on high setting. Low setting is quiet but I rarely use it because the high setting is so much more efficient at removing smoke, steam, & odors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We are very satisfied with the effectiveness of our exhaust fan. We really like our new exhaust fan...it's much better than our old one. It really clears the air quickly when we are cooking, considering it's an unvented fan. I don't know where the smoke goes - but, it goes. The built in lights are great too. I use them for general lighting in the evenings, as well as for cooking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good value for the money This product was a good value for the money. It does a good job of sucking up odors from our oven. The high fan setting is a little noisy but I think that is to be expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fan speed I like this hood just fine except....it could use an intermediate fan speed. Very low to jet blast is annoying. However, this is not to say the unit doesn't do the job. I also found installing the illumination a real pain in the butt. In fact it was the worst part of this installation. That really needs to be improved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than Microwave I replaced a over-the-range vented microwave with this vent hood and I am so much happier with it. It removes the smoke and odors much better than the microwave did. It is a little noisy but so was the microwave. Overall, if you are looking for a vent hood on a budget I would reccommend this one.

How do get the light bulb out

I read the installation guide and the bulb installation is 1 push in, 2 turn clockwise. I have a burned out bulb, I cannot turn it counter clockwise at all. I can't even get grip on one. Any suggestions?
    Asked by: Steve
Thank you for your question on the model NS130WW range hood. To remove the bulb you would push in and turn approximately ½ inch counterclockwise. The bulb should then drop out of the hood. Rubber glove material gives you a better grip and may be of some assistance in removing the bulbs. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.
