Rated 5 out of 5 by Protect Your Bathroom And Make It Smell Better One of the great features of having an effective exhaust fan it getting rid of moister in the air that if left on surfaces will cause water damage. NuTone's 763RLN very effective at addressing this concern. Of course its' powerful suction and circulation also quickly eliminates bad smells as well. I would strongly recommend this exhaust fan!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by This product was great for my application This product was great for my application. I had purchased one 20 years ago when I out an addition on my house. The motor went out and I was able to find one at the home improvement store near my house. I was able to replace the whole unit without changing the shell or duct work. Great product... Keep it going... Would have had to do major construction if it wasn't for your product...!!! April 28, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great to replace older model. I had to replace the older model and this seems to fit perfectly. However, the unit makes a loud humming noise, if I leave the fan running for a long time. The noise is not disturbing, but it is certainly louder than when I first turned it on. April 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy installation I thought this was going to be a daunting job - however, since I had an older Broan model fan I was replacing I was able to use the original box and wiring in the attic and was able to replace the motor and related parts from inside the bathroom. Took less than a half an hour. I also noticed on the newer parts that some design improvements had been made. Very happy I did not need to replace everything in the attic. Fan works great and the new look freshens up the bathroom. October 21, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Replacement This unit was purchased as a replacement for an old unit. It was easy to install, much quieter, and reasonably priced. July 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in the quality of this fan after less than one year of purchase. I purchased two 763RLN bathroom ceiling fan-lights and had them professional installed by a licensed mechanical contractor. One fan/light for the men's and women's bathroom in our new professional building which was completed in May of 2014. The men's bathroom fan works just fine, however the women's bathroom fan/light makes a loud noise. It appears as if the motor etc. is going out. This is a two unit building and my office is directly on the other side of the wall from the women's bathroom. I can hear each time someone in the other suite using the bathroom! The men's fan/light does not make this noise. The tenant has complained and we will have to replace this fan. Disappointing! Thank you. May 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value It has good power for the size of the unit and the price. February 15, 2015

What the heck? We can't find ONE of these bulbs ANYWHERE.

I purchased a light we thought would fit (Sylvania - it has four prongs and 13W) it won't work in the stupid fan! Are you kidding me? Why does it have to be so difficult to find a stupid bulb?

    Where can we get one???????????????????????????

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RFT exhaust fan/fluorescent light. The NEMA number CFQ13W/G24q is also a Sylvania number CF13DT/E/830 or CF13DT/E/835, a Phillips number PL-C13W/827/4P/ALTO or a General Electric number F13DBX/B27/ECO4P. You should be able to get these through a larger hardware or lighting store. You can also find these if you do an internet search.

Any Dimer switches work for this light?

I love this replacement unit. However, I have purchased 3 different dimer switches for Compact Fluoresecent / LED lights from Lutron and Leviton. None will work for this unit. It does not say anything about not being able to use a dimer for this unit. Two of them only would go on and off. The third would not work at all. Any suggestions?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RFT exhaust fan/fluorescent light. The 769RFT requires the use of a CFQ13W/G24Q fluorescent lamp. This lamp operates off of a ballast inside the 769RFT and would use a standard light switch only. You cannot use a dimmer with this bulb.
