Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy installation I thought this was going to be a daunting job - however, since I had an older Broan model fan I was replacing I was able to use the original box and wiring in the attic and was able to replace the motor and related parts from inside the bathroom. Took less than a half an hour. I also noticed on the newer parts that some design improvements had been made. Very happy I did not need to replace everything in the attic. Fan works great and the new look freshens up the bathroom. October 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product Matched my old unit frame and fit great! Instalation was good. October 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Replacement This unit was purchased as a replacement for an old unit. It was easy to install, much quieter, and reasonably priced. July 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in the quality of this fan after less than one year of purchase. I purchased two 763RLN bathroom ceiling fan-lights and had them professional installed by a licensed mechanical contractor. One fan/light for the men's and women's bathroom in our new professional building which was completed in May of 2014. The men's bathroom fan works just fine, however the women's bathroom fan/light makes a loud noise. It appears as if the motor etc. is going out. This is a two unit building and my office is directly on the other side of the wall from the women's bathroom. I can hear each time someone in the other suite using the bathroom! The men's fan/light does not make this noise. The tenant has complained and we will have to replace this fan. Disappointing! Thank you. May 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value It has good power for the size of the unit and the price. February 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by overall product summary is very good This fan was easy to do a replacement-install. dimensions were the same as older model. The loudness is a little more than my previous one, but suction is much better. Looking all the other choices I had, I would have chosen this model again. It does the trick and at an affordable price. February 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product. We replaced a noisy fan in our master bathroom with this fan/light fixture. The fan is so quite -- it doesn't run you out of the room when you need to run it. February 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is quite and easy to install. This product is efficent , easy to isntall and priced resenably. February 8, 2015

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. The green wire from the 763RLN is a ground wire. If you do not have a ground wire from the house going to the 763RLN, there is nothing you can do with the green wire. It would just be left unconnected.

I feel really dumb asking this, but there was a shipping delay on a replacement motor and in between taking the old one out, and getting the new one, I threw away the mounting screw. Can you tell me where/how I can order one? It's this one that was referenced in another answer: "Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. There is a single screw next to the electrical receptacles inside the unit housing. When you remove that screw, you can pull the motor mounting plate out of the unit housing."

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. The screw that holds the motor mounting bracket in place is #8 x .38 Phillips hex head screw with washer. You should be able to get this screw at any hardware store.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RL exhaust fan/light. The only parts that we can recommend for use in the 769RL housing would be the original replacement parts. If you need a quieter unit, you will need to totally remove the 769RL from the ceiling and install a different model. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763 and 663L exhaust fan/lights. The 763RLN will use the same ceiling cutout as the 663L, but we would recommend changing the size of the duct work from three inches to four inches. The 763 is a different model than the 763RLN and will not use the same ceiling cutout.

I have had this fan in a bathroom that hasnt been used but 5 times in as many years until recently. Well now it gets used everyday and I'm noticing steam marks on the walls OUTSIDE of the bathroom where I have a rather expensive exhaust fan. Expensive doesn't mean good by any stretch of the imagination, clearly. With the fan running it doesn't even suck hard enough to hold a single square of toilet paper against the grill. It spins and makes all the noise in the world yet doesn't suck with the light installed at all. With the light out there is some suction to where it will suck up the toilet paper right into the fan. Before u blame my installation I have gone in the attic and on the roof to ensure everything is installed and functioning properly and not clogged. Please help me understand why and what can be done.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RL exhaust fan/light. The 769RL should handle a bathroom of up to 65 square feet with an eight foot ceiling, when installed with four inch rigid duct work. The duct work should be no longer than 29 feet straight, reducing the length by four feet for every elbow installed. The bathroom door should have at least ½ inch of open space between the bottom of the door and the flooring. If your installation meets these specifications, please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.
