Rated 4 out of 5 by This product works great. This product has been working great since the day I installed it. It was very easy to install and wire. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good replacement fan. This fan was used to replace an older, noisy fan. It is very quiet and fit the existing location with very little rework. It is removing moisture and doing it's job well. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by THIS FAN IS AN EXCELLENT VALUE Works great, quiet. I plan to purchase another for the other bath. September 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very noisy and has developed a secondary noise Not at all like the older models. Nutone once built a very good product. This fan is loud and noisy. It has developed a secondary noise that I can't isolate. The unit is only a few years old. I don't expect that it will last much longer. September 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too loud Makes a lot of noise and is not that effective. My advise is to pay a little more and get a better one. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice unit! This fan pulls a little more air than my last one which is what I was looking for. The plus is that it's quieter and brighter than the old on. Good quality fan. September 5, 2014

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. The blower wheel is force fit onto the shaft of the motor. The motor shaft has a flat spot on it and the blower wheel has a flat spot inside the hub that would line up. You would pull it straight off or push a new one straight on.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RL exhaust fan/light. Most of the time we see this, it is because you do not have both white wires connected. There are two white wires inside the 769RL that need to be connected to the house white neutral wire. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 for further assistance.

Specs on this model only say vent outside, but bathroom fan catalog says outside vent with flapper/damper to keep out cold air. Our bathroom fans are rapping when they are NOT powered on. It is worse at night. Can you see attached pics and let me know if this is vented properly? (outside soffit exhaust vent)

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. Depending on the position of the outside roof or wall cap, the wind blowing across it can cause a negative pressure inside the house. This can make the back draft damper open and close causing the sound you are hearing at night. If you install a roof or wall cap with an included damper, it should stop the noise you are hearing. Please contact our Technical Support department for more assistance at 1-888-336-6151.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 769RL exhaust fan/light. The 769RL has a single green wire, a single black wire, a single blue wire and two white wires coming out of the unit. The green connects to the house bare ground wire. The two whites are connected to the house white neutral wire. The black and blue are the hot power wires for the fan and light. They would be connected to the hot power wires from the switches.
