Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Replacement This unit was purchased as a replacement for an old unit. It was easy to install, much quieter, and reasonably priced. July 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in the quality of this fan after less than one year of purchase. I purchased two 763RLN bathroom ceiling fan-lights and had them professional installed by a licensed mechanical contractor. One fan/light for the men's and women's bathroom in our new professional building which was completed in May of 2014. The men's bathroom fan works just fine, however the women's bathroom fan/light makes a loud noise. It appears as if the motor etc. is going out. This is a two unit building and my office is directly on the other side of the wall from the women's bathroom. I can hear each time someone in the other suite using the bathroom! The men's fan/light does not make this noise. The tenant has complained and we will have to replace this fan. Disappointing! Thank you. May 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value It has good power for the size of the unit and the price. February 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by overall product summary is very good This fan was easy to do a replacement-install. dimensions were the same as older model. The loudness is a little more than my previous one, but suction is much better. Looking all the other choices I had, I would have chosen this model again. It does the trick and at an affordable price. February 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product. We replaced a noisy fan in our master bathroom with this fan/light fixture. The fan is so quite -- it doesn't run you out of the room when you need to run it. February 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is quite and easy to install. This product is efficent , easy to isntall and priced resenably. February 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT VALUE Fan is quiet, and the light is excellent. Very easy to install. Good value for the money. February 8, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product makes noise when it is windy outside NuTone model 769RL bath fan installed in new construction, makes noise when it is windy outdoors. From the FAQ section of the the Nutone website, the company is well aware that this issue exists & has not taken steps as of early 2015, to aid the installer with a "fix" for this issue. NuTone should consider adding a bumper of some kind on dampers to prevent back draft movement and resulting noise. February 8, 2015

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. The only parts available for use in the 763RLN housing would be the original replacement parts. There would not be an option for a fan only in that housing. The closest model with just a fan would be the HD50NT. The housing is a little smaller, but the grille should cover the hole.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. If the motor is running, the fan would have to be working unless you have some sort of blockage in the duct work. The fan could be locked up somehow and just humming. Take the grille and reflector off of the unit and turn the fan on to see if the blower wheel is turning. I plan to replace the motor and two different parts numbers relate to two different model #'s. I have manual from prior homeowner but not sure which unit was installed.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the models 763RLN and the 769RL. The difference between these two is the amount of CFM they produce. The 763 is rated at 50 CFM and the 769 is rated at 70 CFM. There should be a data plate inside the unit that lists the particular model that you have.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 763RLN exhaust fan/light. If you have two switches on your wall with a single white, black, red and ground wire going to the 763, you would connect the ground to green and the house white to both whites from the 763. The black from the 763 would connect to the black power wire from one switch and the blue from the 763 would connect to the red power wire from the second switch. The fan quit working in our unit. I have taken out the "A" unit to get to the fan but don't see a way of removing the fan unit from inside the bathroom.

Are there detailed instructions on how to do this?
