Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Extremely quiet and extremely effective in my medium sized bathroom. Eliminated all my problems with moisture. April 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It really sucks! It works very well. Easy to install, quiet and powerful. Bottom line, it sucks! March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Highly recommend I was stunned by how quiet this fan is! And the six-inch duct keeps the bathroom mirror clear, too! Can't give 5 stars because the hole I had to cut to get the box into (replacing underpowered unit) had to be cut slightly larger than the grill that covers it. It was quick to finish and paint, but it wasn't as easy as it might have been. Still, highly recommended. February 20, 2013

How to remove the grille after installation?

What is the best way to remove the grille after the unit has already been installed? I wasn't the person who installed it originally and I want to avoid damaging the unit or my ceiling as much as possible. Thanks.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QTXEN110 exhaust fan. You should be able to pull straight down on the grille. It should come down from the ceiling a couple of inches. You would then reach around the grille and squeeze the springs together to completely remove the grille from the ceiling.

The motor on my new (less than 2 years old) QT080 fan does not work. Can I order a new motor or do I need to buy a new unit? What is the motor part number?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model QT110 exhaust fan. The motor for the QT110 is available. It is part number 86322000. You can change out the motor or the power unit assembly (motor, motor mounting bracket and blower wheel in one assembly) part number 0696B000. The power unit is easier to replace, but it is more expensive. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948 for assistance.

    Can I keep a 4" duct with the QTXEN150

    Customer avatar

The QTRN110F-C is great but doesn't move enough air in our large bathroom (we're most concerned about moisture).

The QTRN110 unit has a 4" duct, while the QTXEN uses a 6". The question of the day: can I install the QTXEN and use a 6x4 adapter/reducer to get the air to the existing exhaust vent? I don't want to pull the old one from the roof unless absolutely necessary...

    ?

    Thanks

    Answer:
None of the QT series fans are recommended for wall mounting, due to unusual motor wear. The LPN80 is a quiet 1.1 sones. It is suitable for ceiling or wall mount and this may be an alternative for you. Thank you for your interest in our line of products.
