Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth operator I included this speed control in my review of an exhaust fan. Conclusion is it works well. I may deem the control unnecessary due to the fact the my exhast fan is incredibly quiet at full speed. Nonetheless, this control has a smooth gradient through its range.

  • Will this work with other brands of fans?

i have a deltaBreez SLM80 fan and want to know if this would work to slow the fan down?

Thank you for your question on the model 57V solid state speed control. The 57V was designed to be used with our products, but it should work safely with any product that requires a solid state speed control with a rating of 3 Amps or less.

Can this control be used with the QTRN Fan series?

I have been reading that using a variable speed controler is not save for all fans.
