Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is high quality I have always relied on Broan-Nutone products for their quality, function and price. The unit is quiet and does what is needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value this fan is a little louder than I expected, but it's fine and does seem to work well. I didn't install it, so i can't speak to that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little noisy Install was fairly easy, features are good, but the unit is a bit noisy, and the different parts can vibrate just enough to get annoying, but only during quiet moments like late at night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fan for small area We bought two fans to replace old ones in the house we bought. They are not the quietest of fans available, but do the job and we don't forget to turn them off after use. In our previous home, we had installed the quietest rated fans and they were so quiet we couldn't hear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value We had Nutone exhaust fans installed in our new home 9 years ago. They may be a bit noisy but they are a good value and they move a lot of air. When the fan blade began to slip and make noise we decided to replace the fan assembly. Rather than buy the parts, we decided that it would be easier and quicker to buy a new one from Home Depot. Good plan except that the design has changed slightly and required a swap of the original base plate. Thanks guys!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from came with good instructions I purchased one of these at Home Depot and installed it myself. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation went smoothly. I would have liked it better if the exhaust duct was a little bit longer and more solid.

What is the difference between the 763n and the previous model?

    Asked by: jb
Thank you for your question on the model 763N exhaust fan/light. The specifications for the current 763N and the older 763RLN are basically the same. The internal components are different and the size of the unit housing are different. The current 763N requires a ceiling cutout of 8-¼” x 8” and the 763RLN requires a ceiling cutout of 9" x 9".

How do i connect the fan to a 3 way switch wiring

When i follow your instruation, onlty the light will work
    Asked by: john
Thank you for your question on the model 763N exhaust fan/light. There are two white wires, a single black and a single blue wire inside the 763N. Make sure that when you are wiring the 763 that you connect both white wires to the house neutral wire. If you are sure the unit is wired properly and still not working, you can always remove the fan assembly and light assembly from the unit housing and try plugging them into an electrical outlet to make sure they are working properly. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.
