Rated 5 out of 5 by JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR OUR HOUSE WAS BUILT 7 YEARS AGO AND OUR WALK OUT LOWER LEVEL NEEDED SOME EXTRA HEAT IN OUR TWO LOWER LEVEL BATHS. EVEN THO WE HAVE A SEPERATE HEATING SYSTEM THERE . WE SHOULD HAVE HEATED THE FLOORS BUT THIS WAS THE FIRST HOUSE WE EVER BUILT. AND THE ONLY SUGESTION WE GOT FROM THE BUILDER WAS TO INSTAL A SEPERATE FURANCE FOR THE LOWER LEVEL. SO WE REPLACED THE FAN/LIGHT WITH THE HEATER/FAN. WOW!! INSTANT HEAT. February 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by loud, not much heat In a nut shell, I wouldn't recommend this product. Our bathroom is not overly large, the unit does not heat it enough and when running it is very noisy. Can't recommend it and wouldn't replace it with another NuTone. February 20, 2013

    605RP Switch wall question

I recently purchased a 605RP fan/heater for our Master Bathroom which we are remodeling.
My wife wanted a switch that will control the fan and the heater all in one. I install a deep single gang box in the wall. I noticed after checking on the Internet that one of the Nutone/Broam sites it mentioned a switch that would go with the fan/heater. It was the Pass/Seymour timer switch. The switch can be operated to time the heater of fan to operate in intervals of 5-10-15-30 minutes.
I even thought on the wiring diagram it made reference to heat and fan on the drawing. So my question is will this switch that you say will go with my fan/heater I recently purchased actually work the fan/heater independently of each other or is the switch just for one or the other.

    Answer:
Hi, Ron. Thank you for your interest in our products. THe 605RP can be wired to a timer switch. The question you have asked would be best answered by contacting our Technical Service Department directly at 888-336-6151. Ask them about our switch models VS68WH and VS69WH. You did mention a single gang box, but these switches would require a 2-gang box. I believe we will be able to get you the correct peice of equipment to finish your project. Give them a call. Thanks.

Thank you for your question on the models 665RP and 605RP. The only difference between these two units is that the 605RP does not have a light. Pricing can vary based on the store you purchase this from or the on-line dealer, so checking different places may be in your best interest.

Thank you for your question on the model 605RP exhaust fan/heater. There is nothing inside the 605RP that can emit a beeping sound. Please make sure the problem is coming from the 605RP and if it is, please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151.
