Rated 5 out of 5 by Bill73 Reasonably priced, straight-forward to install, works well
I needed a white "ceiling hugger" fan for our family room. Based on the description, this one appeared to be just what I needed, the price was reasonable, and other reviews were positive, so I bought it.
Although the "hanging" technique of installation was one I hadn't seen before, it worked quite well, and installation went pretty smoothly.
The fan is perfectly balanced (no wobble whatsoever), and runs quietly. It's just what I wanted to make the room more comfortable when it's not hot enough for the air conditioning, but warn enough that with no air movement the room feels a little "close". Wish I'd had it back in the spring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blacksmith Inexpensive, easy to mount, made well
This replaces a Hunter that drove us nuts with a motor hum. I wanted a Casablanca to match another we have (which is dead silent) but it's no longer made. The Nutone is better than the Hunter, with just a slight noise that is acceptable at low speed. It seems nicely made. Everything went together perfectly with no screw misalignment at all, and it was nearly perfectly balanced as-assembled. I'd buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Richard14 Excellent value, good performance for price
I had to do some modifications to get the mounting bracket to hold the fan stable so it would not wobble, but this is largely a result of the circumstances in my mounting location, rather than the provided brackets. I did need to drill the bracket to install a secondary screw an drywall screw mount to keep everything solidly mounted to prevent wobblw. Overall, I recommend the fan, it is generally very quiet, although on the lowest speed setting there is a persistent electronic "hum". This is loud enough to wake me at times, which is aggravating. It could be a problem with my specific fan, so I will call customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LuLuLily I would recommend this fan
The hugger fan was easy to install, it looks good, it's silent and does the job. My one issue is that I have high ceilings and the fan is quite close to the ceiling and it makes it difficult to dust and/or clean the blades. I live in an area where there is a lot of construction and therefore, a lot of dust and grime. I didn't not consider this before I purchased the fan. I would like to write another review in 6 months or so.
