    • Powder-coated finish in white is durable, easy to clean and will be a perfect match to your white appliances
    • Monochromatic white controls blend with hood for a clean, neat appearance
    • 24” width to fit with like-size cook tops and cabinetry. Proper sizing provides effective ventilation
    • Two-speed rocker control gives you convenient command of Low and High fan speeds. Use the quiet, Normal, setting for average cooking conditions or switch to High to quickly remove unwanted smoke and cooking aromas
    • One 75W incandescent bulb is controlled with the front rocker switch and provides bright cook top lighting (bulb not included). You’re sure to have plenty of light for preparing that evening meal
    • Translucent, polymeric lens diffuses bulb light for even distribution and removes easily for fast bulb replacement

I had a friend to install it and it was fast. It fit perfectly. I was actually surprised at such little work it took to install. It has a bright light and low and high vent choices. The color was just a slight shade off from my range but nothing anyone would notice except me, since I did purchase the range and hood from two different places. The price I paid was well worth the investment. It was very affordable. I would reccomend this product to anyone!

The previous range hood was functional, but was cream colored and all of my appliances are white. I wanted to update the look, so I purchased this product in white. It is a fantastic buy for the money. It really made a huge impact. It is much quieter than the previous fan and the lighting is much brighter, even with the same bulb. My contractor installed it for me, but he did not have any problems at all.

  • Is it possible to add a duct to this hood?

    I currently have this hood, but it recirculates smoke and causes my smoke detector to go off. Is it possible to create a hole to convert this into a duct hood?

    Yes, I just purchased it. I don't have duct work, but on the box, it said it could be vented or non-vented.

    Can it be mounted rotated 90 degrees?

    I have a sloped ceiling where the 24" wide stove is. Cutting a new cabinet at that slope may not be practical. Is it possible to rotate the hood so that it faces to the right of the stove instead of the front, or would that cause problems with performance? Might it also cause problems with bumping into it if mounted 24" above the stove to the bottom of the hood? I read I can mount as low as 18" above the top of the stove burners?

    Thank you for your question. The RL6200 Series must be mounted beneath a cabinet. You cannot rotate the hood 90 degrees because it will not operate properly. The range hood must be mounted between 18-24 inches above the cook top.

    where is the electrical knock out, access hole located.

    I would like to prep the electrical for one of these units, and need dimensions so that my electrical cable is coming out of the wall where the KO is going to be located.

    Thank you for your question. There are (2) electrical knockouts on this range hood. They are both located on the right hand side when looking at the hood. One is on top and the other is on the rear of the hood. Both are approximately 7 ½ inches from the right side. I hope this is helpful.

    Can the electrical connection for RL6224WH range hood be converted to a plug to accommodate a wall outlet?

We have a model HCK44, which is a cord kit that can be used with the RL6224WH, so you can plug it in instead of hard wiring it to the house electrical system.
