Rated 2 out of 5 by Lack of light Does not emit enough light. Limited to using Non-Standard light bulbs (screw in type). Unable to change wattage of bulbs such as 25, 40, 60 etc. Will change to standard fixture sometime in the near future. September 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Powerful, quiet and stylish all in one. Powerful enough to remove the moisture after a shower. No fogged up shower doors or mirror. So quiet I hardly know it is on. The white frosted glass against the oil rubbed bronze base is so stylish. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by THIS PRODUCT IS VERY DECRETIVE AND WORKS WELL! i LOVE THIS CEILING FAN! IT LOOKS LIKE A REGULAR LIGHT AND WORKS VERY WELL! PLUS IT'S VERY QUIET! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FAN-LIGHT. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value for the money. Nice looking exhaust fan for a bathroom. Only negative thing is the flourescent light bulbs. I prefer soft white incandescent bulbs... March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good lighting and exhaust. Product has met or exceeded expectations in both bathrooms where they were installed. Master bath had no exhaust previously and mildew returned after 2 weeks of being cleaned. Now mildew does not reappear even at Four week intervals. In upgraded basement area where knew shower was installed exhaust fan does excellent job of reducing moisture in the bathroom area. Lighting in both bathrooms exceed expectations and the unit is aesthetically pleasing. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quiet Haven't used this as much since it is in a powder room and doesn't get much use. We like how the fan and light can be on separate switches. Our electrician says that also allows the fan to last longer oppose to each time the light is turned on the fan is on or vice versa. Anyhow, the product is quiet oppose to the older one we had which was controlled by one switch, which I think contributed to the fan being overworked when it could have been avoided with a separate switch. Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy installation Reasonable price for a decorative bathroom fan/light. Quality seems good and installation took less than an hour. Runs pretty quiet and does a decent job moving air. Time will tell if the product is durable. Overall, I'm very satisfied. October 13, 2013

Are there other light bulb options?

I'm not sure if the bulbs are not working properly or if I just don't like them. It seems to take minutes to get to maximum light strength and it just looks like an odd color to me. Are there other GU24 base options for a different type of light?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 772RBNT exhaust fan/light. The 772RBNT needs to use a 13 watt maximum, GU24 base, fluorescent bulb with a maximum overall length of 4.8 inches. There should be different colors in this type of bulb. The bulb we supply is rated at 3500K. Please check with a larger hardware or lighting store for a different color tint. These types of bulbs do usually take a little time to come to full brightness.

Can you wire this without the dual control (Minus the Red Wire to Blue wire)

I don't want the dual control, all I have up in the attic is the white/black/ground and I just want the fan and the light to run off the same switch. Do I just leave the blue wire unattached?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 773BNNT exhaust fan/light. For one switch operation you would connect the bare ground wire from the house to the ground screw inside the 773. You would connect the two white wires from the 773 to the white neutral wire from the house. You would then connect the black and blue wire from the 773 to the hot power wire from your switch.

I seem to have wired the switches backwards for the fan and the light from what I had before and it is driving my family nuts. rather than re-wiring, can I simple swap the plugs? (that is, plug the fan into the white receptacle and the light into the black) Or is this dangerous for any reason?
