Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice light, good ventilation This light is very nice looking. The only thing I don't like is the twist lock fluorescent bulbs it uses. I would prefer LED. The fan is fairly quiet and works great. Overall very happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great light the fan took care of 2 problems in the 2nd bath, added the light to brighten up the bathroom and replaced a fan that the kids never turned on because it was too loud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it I like the performance of this fan. It replaced a NuTone that I'd had a lot of problems with over the years; the motor seizing up and the plastic blower shaft clips malfunctioning causing the blower to loosen up and jam the motor. I had to replace them both too many times. The one minor thing about this new one is that I'd like it to be a bit more powerful, more CFMs. But it works well, and looks great and is very quiet-running. I'm knocking on wood right now... Lol

can this be installed on a 2x4 joist

    Asked by: bumbler
Thank you for your question on the model 773BNNT exhaust fan/light. The 773BNNT is designed to be installed with 2” x 6” joists. If you have 2” x 4” joists, we recommend installing additional framing to equal the 2” x 6”. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.

I would like to use a motion sensing switch to activate both fan and light on the one switch. Any issues with this setup?

    Asked by: Soundslikefun
Thank you for your question on the 773BNNT exhaust fan light. There should not be a problem using a wall mounted motion sensing switch to operate the fan and light together. The total current draw on this unit is less than one amp. I’m sorry, but we do not make this kind of switch.

how long is the grille screw?

I just had the housing installed and wired on my new 773BNNT unit. Ceiling in 1/2 in sheet rock. Grill screw is 1 1/4 inch. Rod through grille pan does not reach the grille screw. Is the 1 1/4 inch the standard size for the grille screw?
    Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question on the model 773BNNT exhaust fan/light. Please make sure that the unit housing is not installed on top of the ceiling sheet rock. The bottom of the unit housing must be flush with the finished side of the ceiling. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151 if you need further assistance.
