Thank you for your question on the model LA140WH door chime. There is no volume control on the LA140WH, so there is no way to make it louder. You would need to either hard wire another chime to the LA140 and put it in a second location or go to a wireless door chime system.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model LA140WH door chime. To hard wire a second chime in another location you would need to run an 18 gauge wire (2 conductor wire for one door, 3 conductor wire for two doors) from the first chime to the second location. You would just parallel the wiring connections. You would also probably need to get a higher wattage transformer. You would need a 16 volt, 30 voltamp (watt) transformer.
