    • Totally enclosed motor designed for continuous operation and minimal maintenance
    • Rugged metal fan grille for added durability means breakage will not be a concern
    • AMCA licensed for both air and sound to meet many light commercial requirements

Can I install this unit on a wall

    Asked by: Deane
Thank you for your question on the model HD80NT exhaust fan. The HD80NT can be installed in a wall if you have enough depth. The unit housing is 5-3/4” thick and will not fit in a standard 2” x 4” wall.

Can grill be installed in any direction?

The grill has slanted lovers facing in one direction. I would like to face it towards the shower. Is the grill able to be installed either North, South, East or West direction, which would mean that there are 4 slots for the two retaining springs? My old fan has only 2 slots so the grill can only be mounted in either of two directions, so it is very limited.
    Asked by: Robert
Thank you for your question on the model HD80NT exhaust fan. Our fans would only contain one set of slots for the installation of the grille. For example you could only install it North and South, not East and West.

Timer for Nutone HD80NT model so that it automatically shuts off after preset time

I want to put a Timer for HD80NT model so that it automatically shuts off after preset time. I checked Leviton Timer. It comes in different load rating 500W and 1000W. Any suggestion which one will work for NuTone HD80NT model ? 500W or 1000W ?
    Asked by: SV
Thank you for your question on the model HD80NT exhaust fan. The HD80NT will draw well less than 100 watts, so either timer should work.
