  • 754RBNT is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from such an improvement The new wife and I recently replaced the 26 year old Broan ventilator fan in our bathroom. Not only was it noisy, it lacked a lamp. Removing the old one was accomplished with a heavy pry bar and hammer to cut the nails holding into the framing. For the record, I could not access the attic so all this was done from a work platform. Box size was identical to the old one, a very snug fit. A few drywall screws for support. I like the modular design, as I can unplug the lamp assembly to clean the fan components. The old fan, after all those years, was disgustingly nasty! Brushed nickel finish, a nice lamp globe/shade holding our CFLs. The fan is so quiet, the wife didn't believe it was working. We actually use it for lighting, as it brightens the shower enclosure. I didn't opt to rewire a switch for separate fan and light. It's so quiet, I would probably leave it running if I didn't see the lamp. Very happy with price, fit, finish, and function.

One of the lightbulbs has burned out. How do I disassemble the fixture to replace it?

    Asked by: Me
Thank you for your question on the model 754RBNT exhaust fan/light. To replace the light bulb, you would first unscrew the finial nut. That will release the glass shade from the fixture and give you access to the bulbs. The installation instructions are available for download from our web site and they give pictures of the assembly. Our Technical Support department can help you as well at 888-336-6151.
